After receiving the proforma invoice, the importer goes to the Ministry of Trade to register for import and applies for a commodity inspection number from the commodity inspection company (BIVAC, France) according to the registration number. After receiving the commodity inspection number, the exporter contacts BIVAC to make an appointment for pre-shipment commodity inspection. After the commodity inspection is completed, the exporter must fax all the relevant materials to the BIVAC office to apply for the issuance of the commodity inspection certificate. The BIVAC office handles the commodity inspection certificate according to the relevant information and notifies the BIVAC Angola office to issue a formal commodity inspection certificate to the importer. Goods exported to Angola must undergo pre-ship commodity inspection. Otherwise, you must go through the CIF commodity inspection and impose a penalty of 30% of the CIF price. Exports to Angola must also apply for a shipping certificate. The exporter can either handle it through the Hong Kong agent of the Angola Shipping Council or entrust a freight company to handle it.
The Angolan government stipulates that any goods imported into the country must apply for the Angola (Angola) CNCA shipping certificate and BV inspection, otherwise it will not be able to clear customs and pick up the goods normally. If you do not apply for a CNCA shipping certificate, you will not be able to pick up the goods; if you reapply in Angola, you will also be subject to a fine of 8,000 US dollars per container
The consignor provides the detailed information of the goods to the consignee, and the consignee goes to the local customs in Angola to declare. After receiving the declaration, the customs sends the serial number to the consignee, which is a serial number with numbers at the beginning of AGO (such as AGO2008338191), and the goods are shipped According to the serial number provided by the consignee, the person will go to the BV office to check. If the BV office finds the serial number issued to them by the customs, it will send an application form and related inspection instructions to the consignor, and then we will send it to the BV office. Provide the packing list, invoice, and application form to the BV office, and then arrange to go to the factory to do a BV inspection. The most important thing to note in the BV inspection is that the trailer must arrive at the factory early and wait for the arrival of the inspector. If the container trailer arrives late Or if the inspector fails to start the inspection 2 hours after arriving at the site, a fee will be incurred
Testing involves costs;
The BV inspection fee is generally paid when the consignee declares at the port of destination, and the consignor does not incur any fees under normal operation. Verify the cost and submit it to the BV office after confirmation

Another point is about the shipping certificate (CONSELHONACIONALDECARREGADORESDEANGOLA), English abbreviation CNCA, CNCA can be done by the consignor or a middleman. After the shipping company has issued a sample copy of the bill of lading, you can contact CNCA (Angola Transport Association) in Hong Kong, and he will send you an application form, which mainly involves the name of the ship, voyage bill of lading number, ship registration, container type, etc. After paying the certification fee, he can send the CNCA certificate. Only after the shipping company has the CNCA number can it issue the original bill of lading.
