Ocean LCL booking and precautions
1.Fax or email your shipping bill to the freight forwarding company. The shipping bill must bear the shipper's
booking seal or official seal. The content must include the following items: a. Shipper b. Consignee c. NOTIFY
PARTY d. Port of departure e. Port of destination f. Product name, number of packages, gross weight, volume
g. Freight terms (pre paid, collect) g. Other requirements.
2.The freight forwarding company shall arrange the ship according to the requirements on your consignment note,
including the warehouse address, contact number, contact person, and the latest warehousing date. Please be
sure to enter the warehouse before the latest warehousing period according to the warehousing number.
If your company enters the warehouse after the latest warehousing period, the shipping company will not be
able to ensure that your goods will be shipped on schedule, and may also incur a shipping loss fee.
3.The customs clearance period is generally 10 a.m. the day before the ship sails. The shipper shall submit all customs
declaration documents to the shipping company one day before this date; If you need time-consuming services such
as commodity inspection and fumigation, you need to send the relevant documents to the shipping company in
advance (generally 5-7 working days in advance) to avoid delays in export.
4. The shipping company will fax the confirmation copy of the bill of lading to the shipper one day before shipment.
The shipper is requested to confirm and return it before shipment as much as possible, otherwise it may affect
the normal issuance of the bill of lading. After sailing, the shipping company will issue the bill of lading within one
working day after receiving the confirmation of your bill of lading, and arrange for mailing services. "If it is required
to countersign, advance the bill of lading, or perform telex release, please provide a written guarantee with the
official seal of the original shipper.". Within the allowable range, the freight forwarding company will handle it
according to normal regulations.
5.After the shipment of the goods, the shipping company will provide your company with the agent information at
the destination port and the second route pre allocation information. Your company can contact the destination
port for customs clearance and pickup matters based on the relevant information.
6. The shipper can pay the shipping fee to the shipping company according to the mutual agreement to
obtain the bill of lading.
