China Laos Kunming/Vientiane Railway, or "China Laos International Railway Corridor", or "China Laos Railway" for short, is an electrified railway connecting Kunming City, Yunnan Province, China, with Vientiane City, Laos. It was built by China according to the national railway grade I standard , and is the first transnational railway invested and built mainly by China, jointly operated, and directly connected with China's railway network.
The China Laos Kunwan Railway consists of Kunyu Section, Yumo Section, and Mowan Section. The Kunyu Section runs from Kunming South Station to Yuxi Station, with a total length of 79 kilometers and a design speed of 200 kilometers per hour; The Yumo section runs from Yuxi Station to Mohan Station, with a total length of 507 kilometers and a design speed of 160 kilometers per hour; The Mo Wan section runs from Mo Ding Station to Vientiane South Station, with a total length of 418 kilometers; Design speed 160 km/h.

There are a total of 5 stations in the Kunyu section of the China Laos Kunwan Railway, including Kunming South Station, Huacheng Station, Jinning East Station, Baofeng Station, and Yuxi Station. Among them, 2 stations handle passenger transportation services.
Yumo section
There are a total of 30 stations in the Yumo section of the China Laos Kunming Wan Railway, including 25 in the initial stage and 5 in the long term. There are a total of 12 stations handling passenger services, including Yuxi Station, Eshan Station, Huanian Station, Yuanjiang Station, Mojiang Station, Ning'er Station, Pu'er Station, Yexianggu Station, Xishuangbanna Station, Olive Dam Station, Mengla Station, and Mohan Station [11].
Mowan section
There are a total of 10 stations in the Mo Wan section of the China Laos Kun Wan Railway that handle passenger transportation services, including Mo Ding Station, Nadui Station, Na Mo Station, Mengsai Station, Menga Station, Luang Prabang Station, Gaxi Station, Wanrong Station, Penghong Station, and Vientiane Station.
