PUERTO CABELLO is the largest port in Venezuela. An important port on the Caribbean coast of Venezuela. Located in the northern part of Calavovo Oblast, 30 kilometers south of Valencia. Population 94000 .
PUERTO CABELLO Port is located on the southern coast of the Caribbean Sea, where 70% of the country's import and export goods are collected and distributed. Among the 74 ports in Latin America and the Caribbean, Port of Cabello ranks seventh. This port has a history of over 60 years. Since the 1990s, the Port of Cabello has undergone institutional reforms and greatly improved its efficiency. Its high-quality services have been praised by domestic and foreign users.
PUERTO CABELLO has 26 docks with depths of 9 to 12 meters, providing comprehensive services for users. In the port area, containers from around the world are colorful, and large mobile cranes are organizing freight yards. The spacious freight yard can accommodate 14000 containers. The harbor is calm and the temperature ranges from 25 to 35 ºC year-round. It is said that the highest wave here does not exceed 30 centimeters. Cabello means "hair" in Spanish, and some people jokingly say that the sea here is so calm that a ship can be tied with just one hair, so it is called Cabello Port.

Cabello Port is an oil export terminal port with 6 oil tanker berths: Berths 1 and 2, with a maximum length of 219.49 meters, a ship width of 30.48 meters, a draft of 11.89 meters, 45000 deadweight tons, an average low tide depth of 12.50 meters, and only loading and unloading crude oil. Berths 3 and 4 have a maximum length of 172.26 meters, a ship width of 22.86 meters, a draft of 10.36 meters, a deadweight of 23000 tons, and an average low tide depth of 10.67 meters for loading and unloading crude oil and propane. Berths 5 and 6 have a maximum length of 259.08 meters, a ship width of 41.15 meters, a draft of 12.19 meters, a deadweight of 110000 tons, and an average low tide depth of 12.80 meters. They only load and unload crude oil. There is a 24 inch diameter sewage pipe in the port that can discharge any amount of dirty ballast water. Cleaning of ship cabins can also be carried out in the port.
